Battle Realms

The Battle Realms game is one of my personall favorites, and...I KNOW, I know! most of you dont play games and dont really care about them, but the tittle sais Books/Games and well I think that going from book to game keeps it from becoming boring. At least for gamers that is. What? you want me out? Well SHUT UP! Im still gonna write this

Story: The plot mainly revolves around Kenji, last heir to the Serpent's Throne. When he returns from exile, Kenji comes across bandits raiding a peasant village. He can choose to either kill the bandits and save the peasants, or, he can side with the bandits and kill the peasants. If he chooses to save the peasants, he will follow the path of the Dragon clan. If he aids the bandits, he will follow the path of the Serpent clan.

In Kenji's Journey, the player may choose which territories he or she wishes to attack first. Taking specific territories might give benefits, and other Zen Masters may join Kenji. Later on, the player can summon these Zen Masters from the Keep.

In the Battle Realms expansion Winter of the Wolf, the player follows the story of Grayback, a wolf miner who started a rebellion to free his fellow wolf clansmen from the clutches of the Lotus and Serpent. In the process, Grayback must defeat the sorceress Yvaine to stop the snow blizzard from killing his clansmen.
(I know you have no idea of the main plot, the review sucks but it was the best i could find without making a personall one)

Why It Should Be A Movie:
Well for starters the storyline is not too large, and extremelly interesting! The world is deep and has a suffice backround storyline, that leaves many to the viewer, or gamer's imagination, without having an immediate effect on the storyline. The storyline itself has twists and turns, and although it is nothing too special or unique keeps the interest to the end. Also with the expansion out, it makes the movie able to be a 2 episode movie, starting with Kenji and then show the events of the Winter Of The Wolf, or vice versa. Anyway, the game has many elements of Asian fantasy (hell of all the clans only the Wolf are not as if they are drawn for a Kung-Fu martial arts or whatever Asian-y like movies) so the movie could be a great combination of martial arts and raw combat as demonstrated by the Wolf Clan. I think that it would be a great Asian movie.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I Review

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,is a much-anticipated motion picture event to be told in two full-length parts. The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort's Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and arresting anyone who might oppose them. But the one prize they still seek is the one most valuable to Voldemort: Harry Potter. Harry's only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. As he searches for clues, he uncovers the legend of the Deathly Hallows. And if the legend turns out to be true, it could give Voldemort the ultimate power he seeks. No longer just a boy, Harry Potter is drawing ever closer to the ultimate battle with Voldemort.

REVIEW:
I'm pretty sure all our followers would know that i watched the movie yesterday. Hahaha...i have one thing to say: AWESOME!
Deathly Hallows Part I is by far the best Harry Potter movie in every almost every aspect ( i will say later what was its problem).

To compare with the book..of course it was the first the movie which not only had at least 90% of the book in it, but it also didn't have big-wow changes (like the attack at the Borrow at the previous one). The scenes were exactly as the book. It was almost like re-reading it. Well..kinda obvious since is only the had half the book in 2+ hours. They did a pretty good job by explaining more the Horcuxes and Deathly Hallows, something the previous movie was lucking. The had some little adds, like Harry and Hermione dancing but they were normal enough and matching with the story.
The acting also got some levels up. Especially for Rupert Grint. Finally, we get to see Ron in all its aspects! Rupert Grint had the chance to show us how really good he is. Of course there was improvement with all the actors but Rupert really stand out for me. It was his movie.
Do i really need to talk about the special effects? Only from the trailer you can see what's going on. It's amazing and interesting how big is the chanGe between the movies. Dobby and Kritcher were looking so real...nothing like Dobby at the 2nd movie. I so want one day make things like that!

Now, on the negative little parts. First, (as always) the Harry-Ginny relationship. They give us to much of them. And the movie-Ginny is so annoying. At least for me:P And secondly (and last one), was the music. The movie was soooo silent. I'm used to hear the Harry Potter soundtracks in almost every scene and they always make the scenes more..full. In this one, there were really big parts with no-music or so silent music that the scenes felt empty. I'm pretty sure as soundtrack itself is great, but there was something off in the movie. And you didn't even listen the Harry Potter theme in a scene! Not credits...no start..at least was at the trailer.

Favorite Part: The story of the 3 brothers and the Deathly Hallows. Just WOW!

You surely need to watch this one! It's Harry Potter! XD

The Lost Hero Review

Jason has a problem. He doesn’t remember anything before waking up in a bus full of kids on a field trip. Apparently he has a girlfriend named Piper and a best friend named Leo. They’re all students at a boarding school for “bad kids.” What did Jason do to end up here? And where is here, exactly?
Piper has a secret. Her father has been missing for three days, ever since she had that terrifying nightmare. Piper doesn’t understand her dream, or why her boyfriend suddenly doesn’t recognize her. When a freak storm hits, unleashing strange creatures and whisking her, Jason, and Leo away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood, she has a feeling she’s going to find out.
Leo has a way with tools. When he sees his cabin at Camp Half-Blood, filled with power tools and machine parts, he feels right at home. But there’s weird stuff, too—like the curse everyone keeps talking about. Weirdest of all, his bunkmates insist that each of them—including Leo—is related to a god. 

REVIEW:
For those who don't know, The Lost Hero is the first book of the sequel series for Percy Jackson books. The story goes one after where the last Percy Jackson book ends. I feel lucky that at least i had read the first book from Percy Jackson. It's not necessary but it's easier to get into the story. Plus many old characters are back which make it interesting to see them from a different view. I think the people who have read the whole series would enjoy it more.

Exactly as with Percy Jackson, the story runs with demigods in the middle, but this time we see Roman myths as well. Til then we had only Greek mythology but now they are combined. Also the kids are older. They are 16 years old when Percy was 12. The book is pure adventure, mostly for 12-17 years old, i believe. It has an innocence in it so younger people can read it. It's much funnier and with more action.
I totally prefer it opposite of Percy Jackson. I enjoyed it way more. The characters were better created and the book is written by different POV each chapter. So you get to know all of them differently. The quotes are cleverer as well. And for some reason i found the writing some levels up from the previous ones.
What i found annoying sometimes was the plot. From the first 1/4 of the book, i knew who the villain was and what was going on with Jason. Well that's ok...but the annoying part with it is that all the evidence the characters were needed were in front of them. And they couldn't get it! Not at all! I mean seriously? I know it supposed to be mysterious or so..but when something it's so obvious and characters acting not-accordingly in way, it really gets on my nerves. But well..maybe that's just me.

I would prefer to not touch the subject Greek mythology in this one, cause my fellow blogger Johnny probably would kill me. He is sensitive XD

Anyway, i really liked the book. I'm looking forward to read the next books of the series, something that didn't happen with Percy Jackson. I felt younger while i was reading it. I liked that :D

*i know the review is a bit fast, but i'm only 2 hours away from Harry Potter 7-Part I and i'm so excited that i can't really concetrate!lol..yay!*
