Spotlight List is a totally awesome meme by Small Review,
and its actually one of the things that grows my TBR every week. Every
week, we create a theme and then we do a top list on it. Small Review already has Spotlight Posts about Fantasy, Gothic, Historical Fiction, Retold Stories you might want to check out.
Every week, one of us will pick a theme and create the list. Then everyone will comment on this list!
The guys only know the comments from the person who picked the theme and did the choices. They haven't seen the rest.
Spotlight: Disturbing "Teen" Movies
by Athanasia
*Yiota's msg: 1.I didn't comment on this one.Too tired and not interested XD Sorry, Athanasia. 2.Silvestro is lost 3.I didn't agree with the title of the list but it's not my list so...4.those are not teen movies Athanasia*
This weeks Spotlight is especially dedicated to Yiota and Johnny, two of my fellow bloggers who do all the Spotlights and use movies, books, characters that I don't know ! So this week we feature 5 “Teen Movies”, those are classics now, they have everything a good "teen" movie needs and that is sex, disgusting and funny scenes, booze and last but not least romance!
American Pie
athanasia: American pie is the teen movie that all teen movies copy, it is a classic, every one was more disturbing than the last one, I remember watching it when I was younger and it was so cool back then, I really wouldn't try to watch it again now cuz it would lose all it's coolness XDJohnny: Personally not a great fan of teen movies, because some of the scenes are well TOO awkward to say the least. However the American Pie ones are just classics
Nina: American Pie are now classic. I think they are funny in a twisted way. I don't know if I've seen all of them. I think that they present the mind of an average teenage more than the actions it did, or I want to believe it.....
American Wedding
athanasia: After American pie I had to mention American wedding, older but still hilarious actors and similar incidents !Johnny: Wait, isnt American Wedding AFTER the American Pie movies? Damn
Nina: Well, I'm sure I haven't seen this one. I have only seen parts of it and I believe that it proves that there are people that don't really change by getting older....
Not Another Teen Movie
athanasia: Ok this one was really disgusting and disturbing.. I mean it was one of the worst and grosse teen movies I have ever seen. One particular scene with a certain cross still haunts me...Johnny: never heard of it, Why arent the scary movies in here? especially the 3rd. I still laugh when I remember scenes of it
Nina: And I haven't seen this one either....So I'll trust the others....
40 Days and 40 Nights
athanasia: I remember this one XD The scenario is exquisite, so sophisticated XD it was funny though, one of those movies you don't admit you have seen, remember the scene with the roses? ^.^Johnny: anything to do with Arabian nights? no?
Nina: I liked this one but I had no idea that it is a teen movie. I liked the story, I found the choice th guy made original. I remember that I wasn't actually believing that the guy could hold himself for that long. And the scene Athanasia mentions is still the only one that comes in my mind every time someone mentions it....
Euro Trip
athanasia: Even if this one has all the “symptoms” of a teen movie, it is my favorite and I personally believe that it is the most “normal” too. I loved the scenario and I really liked the trip part, also there are many scenes that I remember and that doesn't happen for a lot of movies with me.. it was so funny !Johnny: Wait, is this the one with the tape he send to his girlfriend?
Nina: I think that I like this movie because I like the trip they made. From the first time I watched it, I knew that I wanted the some trip. The guys and the gal there don't do tourism, but they leave in every country and do everything each country is famous for....
