Just so you know...this is probably the only Comic related Convention in Greece. There are some bazaars and parties from publishers but this is the only big thing.

17:30-18:30 Spotlight on the movie "The Dragonphoenix Chronicles: Indomitable"
Firstly, we need to mention that i all of us thought we are actually about to watch the movie. No one really noticed the word "spotlight". So after an interview and Q&A with Thanos Kermitsis (screen writer, director), Giannis Rouboulias (screen writer, author of the Dragonphoenix Chronicles comic book), Konstantina Georganta, Georgia Giannakoudi, Kyriakos Korogiannis (Actors) , they showed a "prelude" of the movie. I've watched it before though so i was expecting something more (little disappointed here)...It is important to mention that this the first Epic Fantasy movie from Greece, and it's not even attached to a studio. It's an indie film with the money of people who love the genre. I prefer no to talk more about it here, but instead make a post related to it in the near feature since i see it as something important for Greece.
18:45-20:15 Panel Discussion: "Comics & Animation - Partners through time"
This is one of the most interesting panels i've been so far (not that i have been in many..just saying). It started with a prologue with the history of animation and then later continued with interview and Q&A of Douglas Paskiewicz (comics creator, animator), Αλέκος Παπαδάτος (comic creator, animation), Δημήτρης Σαββαίδης (comics writer, animator), Γιάννης Τέξης (comics creator, animator). There is not much to say really. I just loved the insight on both comics and animation, on how they created, how they work their ideas, what in the end comes to audience, etc etc. It's also one of the panels were the people taking part, felt a little more comfortable with each other and were really starting conversations and talking. Most of the times, especially the Greek people don't seem comfortable up there.
And lastly we went up to see the Fanzines (where are the self published people). There were so many stuff i wanted to buy there and support everyone, but i was wise enough (sorry guys) to not bring money with me since i'm on a ban again.
And lastly was a visit at both the The Judge Dredd Revolution and Alexia Othonaiou Exhibitions.
Come back tomorrow to take a look at Day 2.
