Movie Review: Limitless

Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro star in Limitless, an action-thriller about a writer who takes an experimental drug that allows him to use 100 percent of his mind. As one man evolves into the perfect version of himself, forces more corrupt than he can imagine mark him for assassination. Out-of-work writer Eddie Morra's (Cooper) rejection by girlfriend Lindy (Abbie Cornish) confirms his belief that he has zero future. That all vanishes the day an old friend introduces Eddie to MDT, a designer pharmaceutical that makes him laser focused and more confident than any man alive.

REVIEW:
The main reason i watched the movie? 1. Bradley Cooper 2. The trailer seems exciting.

The story i have to admit is quite interesting. It starts slowly, with Cooper being a lost who don't really care of his life until he get those pills. Those pills are perfect. When you take them you are in your 100% potential. You remember everything you learned, experienced, understand things fast, watching through various situations. You are not a superhero, you just use your 100%. And even though, when you stop take them you might die...still when you watch what you can do at the movie, you will wish to at least try them once just so you can learn what you can actually do. And that exactly what happens to Cooper, though he doesn't stop and tries to get rich and stuff and at some he just lose control.

Now it's not much of an action movie, though it's a really exciting one. My favorite part was when Cooper was taking the pill, and you were in his mind and you could see everything differently exactly how he was seeing them. In general it is a movie carefully created and with both slow and fast scenes.

Limitless is one of the best movies of Bradley Cooper. He managed to give one of his best performances, and for me totally shadowed Robert De Niro. It was his movie.
But i have to admit everyone did a great job, with an acting above the average for all the actors. It's just that even after you see, Bradley Cooper just stays in your mind above everyone else.

A good thriller if you want to spent your night with something different and original than the usual kidnaps, time travel, etc films.

  1. I started watching this movie believing it to be like "Click", and that prepared me for great amounds of depressing action. In my surprise though I enjoyed the movie to the end. Even when the side effects of the drug kicked in the main character was still cool and not as devastated as the character in "Click".

So yeah I enjoyed this movie and I would watch it again.
