Brotherhood, Movie Review

When the initination ritual goes horribly wrong, and every move proves disastrous, Adam is forcing to confront a new challenge alltogether, and he has to take a stand.

REVIEW:
Before we start I'd like to say that I had no idea what this movie was about. Sometimes I pick movies that aren't well promoted because I believe that every movie has something unique to tell. Then I learned that the movie had won an award and I though to give it a try.

Good things: It's a very strong movie, with many emotions and male power. Even though it's small, you don't feel that something is missing or lacking from the story. It's full with men, no girl power in this one. It's fast and it runs around situations both indoors and outdoors and you have to be focused on it.

Bad things: The story is a little stupid. A guy gets shoot and instead of getting him to a hospital, they keep him in the house, because they are so scared of the other concequences, like getting expeled or getting arrested, like they weren't going to face them in case the guy dies. That made me think that these guys are stupid. Also they swear a lot. I don't thing I ever heard the word "fuck" so many times in a movie before. And something that bothered me, mostly because I'm a girl, is the way they were treating to the girls at the party.

Bottom line, the movie had its own beauty and if you are one of those who like to be informed about everything and have a round opinion about those things, I suggest you to watch it. But if you are not, then I guess you shouldn't. Basically, I'm sure that Yiota wouldn't like it, so if you think you have the same taste as hers, then leave it.

  2. from the overview I got that the characters are form a college fraternity so the attitude is not far from the truth...
And the movie is called brotherhood why did you expect girls, if it was called sisterhood I would understand it :P

  3. Silvestro: You are right, but I don't know what's really happening in a fraternity....And I wasn't expecting girls, I just put it in the negatives, so I say to the girls that's mostly a guys movie, and to the boys that there are not pretty girl in it....
