Personal Demons Review

Frannie Cavanaugh is a good Catholic girl with a bit of a wicked streak. She's spent years keeping everyone at a distance—even her closest friends—and it seems her senior year will be more of the same...until Luc Cain enrolls in her class. No one knows where he came from, but Frannie can't seem to stay away from him. What she doesn't know is that Luc works in Acquisitions—for Hell—and she possesses a unique skill set that has the King of Hell tingling with anticipation. All Luc has to do is get her to sin, and he’s as tempting as they come. Frannie doesn’t stand a chance.

Unfortunately for Luc, Heaven has other plans, and the angel, Gabe, is going to do whatever it takes to make sure that Luc doesn’t get what he came for. And it isn't long before they find themselves fighting for more than just her soul.

But if Luc fails, there will be Hell to pay…for all of them.

REVIEW(3/5 stars):
Hmmm..okay...i was pretty hyped about that books but didn't go that well. I think i'm tired of stories with threesomes or a bad guy who has to kill a girl but falls in love with her and blah blah..Anyway i will try to not let this feeling change my review.

The book is written in first person POV, Frannie's and Luc.The story is like usual with angels, fallens or demons. A special girl and boys fight over her. Nothing really unique here.
About Frannie i don't know what to think. I don't like her. I would never be her friend. And i really hate how much of herself thinks. She plays with the boys like they are her dolls. So yeah..it wasn't my best to be in her mind.
On the other hand we have Luc, who supposed to be a first level demon from Hell who came for her soul. From what i had read at other reviews, i was waiting for a really bad person. Not at all. I mean yeah, he is bad but doesn't deserve his title as demon from Hell. He acts more like every normal would have. I was really disappointed in that part. He falls too easy for her and he does that job for 7millenia! Seriously?
The third person, is Gabriel, our angel. That guy was good. He was my favourite one. He was exactly how it's supposed to be.

I guess i haven't say any good word about it eh? Well, i liked the writing! It's one of the best first person POV's i have read. When you read first person, it's like you are in the characters mind but less confusing. I believe our author here really came closer to a real mind thinking, as any other i have read. It wasn't confusing but it had that moments where our thoughts are coming to fast,or we repeat them. So for that the book is worth reading it.

Now, i'm about to start the next book. I think at my next order i will put some classic fantasy books and have a break from supernatural romance.

  1. Gosh I loved this book! I perfectly get your concerns specially about Luc not being super evil, but I couldn't help it but loving this book so much!

    Happy Weekend!
