Now i know what you most think. What the hell is "HE!" talking about! Well truth is that when Yiota saw that i bought the Jane Austen 7 novels book, she actually started laughing her ass off. She said I could never read even one book. And so as the famed Barnabeus Stinson once said: "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED" So here I am, trying to read 7 love stories...Wish me luck people, the showdown has begun
Day 1: I began with the first of the book, Sense and Sensibility, whatever the title is for, i personally found it pretty epic. The content however was not so epic. I managed to read to page 18 i have to say! and i am proud to announce that....I have no idea what the hell is going on! I mean, it started saying stuff about income, and the life of a family, so far so good. Then it started to mention a mr John Dashwood, so things got pretty mixed with names, but then mr Dashwood died, so things went well for a few lines. Then it started saying something about a mrs John Dashwood, and mrs Dashwood and things got a bit complicated. Anyway after a few kinda weird situations which i was still trying to find out who the hell is the protagonist, i managed to stop at page 18 which finally began making sense. And i stopped there.
Day 2: well that is today, and since i am on a pc i am planning on a break. Though that is unlikely. I am also considering to take advantage of the days after the surgery where i will be kinda drugged to really manage a push on reading those novels. Anyway, wish me luck everyone :D

hahaha..i still laugh..good luck with that XD
ReplyDeleteI told ya, to start with Emma but no...you want Sense and Sensibility :p
I say if you see that after a week you have not read more than 100 pages just stop trying and read something else. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to read and finish a book that holds no interest and I fear that those books are not what you would really like.
ReplyDeleteI have this book too, but I haven't read them yet because I want to improve my English....I wish you luck, Austen is difficult (at least for me)....
ReplyDeleteOh!! By the way I love Barny....
Haha Best of luck, Johnny! Jane Austen is one of my all-time favourite authors. I hope you enjoy her works as well.
ReplyDeleteHaha, oh good luck! I can't imagine trying to keep straight all of her wandering sentences while drugged up! My two favorite Austens are Northanger Abbey and Lady Susan. They're not the typical romances Austen is known for.
ReplyDeletegood luck with that!
ReplyDeletei really don't know with you are doing this to yourself..
God this book is hard, i almost cant wait to be drugged :P
