Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I Review

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,is a much-anticipated motion picture event to be told in two full-length parts. The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort's Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and arresting anyone who might oppose them. But the one prize they still seek is the one most valuable to Voldemort: Harry Potter. Harry's only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. As he searches for clues, he uncovers the legend of the Deathly Hallows. And if the legend turns out to be true, it could give Voldemort the ultimate power he seeks. No longer just a boy, Harry Potter is drawing ever closer to the ultimate battle with Voldemort.

REVIEW:
I'm pretty sure all our followers would know that i watched the movie yesterday. Hahaha...i have one thing to say: AWESOME!
Deathly Hallows Part I is by far the best Harry Potter movie in every almost every aspect ( i will say later what was its problem).

To compare with the book..of course it was the first the movie which not only had at least 90% of the book in it, but it also didn't have big-wow changes (like the attack at the Borrow at the previous one). The scenes were exactly as the book. It was almost like re-reading it. Well..kinda obvious since is only the had half the book in 2+ hours. They did a pretty good job by explaining more the Horcuxes and Deathly Hallows, something the previous movie was lucking. The had some little adds, like Harry and Hermione dancing but they were normal enough and matching with the story.
The acting also got some levels up. Especially for Rupert Grint. Finally, we get to see Ron in all its aspects! Rupert Grint had the chance to show us how really good he is. Of course there was improvement with all the actors but Rupert really stand out for me. It was his movie.
Do i really need to talk about the special effects? Only from the trailer you can see what's going on. It's amazing and interesting how big is the chanGe between the movies. Dobby and Kritcher were looking so real...nothing like Dobby at the 2nd movie. I so want one day make things like that!

Now, on the negative little parts. First, (as always) the Harry-Ginny relationship. They give us to much of them. And the movie-Ginny is so annoying. At least for me:P And secondly (and last one), was the music. The movie was soooo silent. I'm used to hear the Harry Potter soundtracks in almost every scene and they always make the scenes more..full. In this one, there were really big parts with no-music or so silent music that the scenes felt empty. I'm pretty sure as soundtrack itself is great, but there was something off in the movie. And you didn't even listen the Harry Potter theme in a scene! Not credits...no start..at least was at the trailer.

Favorite Part: The story of the 3 brothers and the Deathly Hallows. Just WOW!

You surely need to watch this one! It's Harry Potter! XD

I suppose the only other negative thing would be that we have to wait 'til July to see part 2! :P

  4. Maybe where this book was so serious they are trying to convey that with the silence?

Would love to see this on the big screen but have to get Christmas out of the way first. Hopefully it will still be on afterwards.

  5. Maybe....but it was missing emotions. Music always add things in a movie :/

  10. LOVED IT!!!
I agree that Rupert has become an actor with a capital A, he was really good in this movie! And I think they cut it off at the right point...but the release of pt 2 is still too far away! :P

As for the music, or rather the lack of it, I think it adds to the really tense moments in the storyline so I didn't find it a bad choice; except for the lack of the opening theme at the beginning.

The first scene was so emotional :'(

  12. @Elena I agree with you up to some point. Some silent scenes were indeed better off without music, however I dont remember any soundtrack for the movie. I dont even know if it was there :P I think they could add some more music in some scenes

PS. does anyone else think that the picture and movie poster of HP seems like a 100 meter race in the Olympics? :P POTTER! POTTER TAKES THE GOLD!

  13. On the thing that Johnny said for fun about the running. At the shooting they guys did race at the scene. Emma was the faster XD

  15. what do u mean?? the quote is exactly like that in the book...
or you talking about smth else?;p

  16. I know it's like in the book but at the cinema everyone started laughing when they said the word "Twilight"...like "don't mention twilight, call it midnight".

Maybe those who hadn't read the book thought it was made on purpouse.

  17. Really? In our cinema that didn't happen. And think about, it was full! I asked also my friends and none of them thought about it like that.
    World is so different...

  19. Best Harry Potter movie Yet... The story (for those who have read the books) will have gaps due to the previous ones, but I loved it...

  20. sorry to crash the party but I believe that one was the worst harry potter movie, it was needlessly long, boring and had a very hard time causing interest for me. Most scenes had no music as said on the review and that added to the boredom. Even the chase and fight scenes started being boring after some time because they forgot to add some suspence music :O
The only reason I watched it to the end was because I wanted to know the story so I could watch the part II that was really the best HP movie.

  23. @Yiota: so you are saying that if you are not a hp fun to the point that every time you see the HP logo you smile you can't appreciate this movie ?
