The Social Network Review

On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network(Facebook) and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history… but for this entrpreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications.

REVIEW:
I was really not sure if i wanted to watch that movie. At last i did of course. Not with the best thoughts in mind though. I've heard many times that mos of it is a lie.

So here i am watching a movie about Facebook and its creation. To let you know it's most from its economic and legal aspect. We have Mark against his best friend Eduardo who suits him for 600 millions dollars and the situation with 3 Harvard guys who accuse him he stole the idea from them. As they answer questions, we see how they describe their actions. The movie is based on a book. They didn't put all the "facebook creators" into one room and asked them. The Accidental Millionares was written Ben Mezrich and its based on Eduardo's aspect since Mark declined to speak with the author about the book. So i guess, we really don't have all the truth, though according to wikipedia's story about Facebook 80% is true (i think).Anyway, despite the fact the movie rolls in that way, through questions, i have to say i liked it. It was not "youhou happy movie" but it was pretty interesting and it made to wanna watch it til the end. Mostly, cause i couldn't believe how many changed all people around Mark. And i say everyone except Mark, because he is living in his own world. Literally he doesn't care about money. From what we saw here, always. I'm sure he is pretty happy which his billions XD

As for the casting i believe it had really good choices. Jesse Eisenberg always made think he is a person who live in his own world. He really makes a good Mark. He was born with that style. And no matter, i never enjoyed his movies, he is a great actor.
I've never watched Andrew Garfield before (except that i know he is the next Spiderman) but i now believe he is a really talented actor. It surprised me how you can understand his emotions so well from the way he was playing. Especially from his facial expressions. Girls plus: he is really cute
Another of the mains was Justin Timberlake. His part is not that big but he did his job. He never was a really such actor but surely he doesn't suck. The medium level.
There were many other unknown for me actors but they weren't amateurs. The directors, etc have done a really good job with the movie. What suprised me was Brenda Song (isn't she a Disney star from Cody&..don't remember). She is not good and well yeah..i was happy she had really small parts in it.

I don't really know to who i will recommend the movie. I watch it from curiosity and that's all. If you are bored with that kind of things..i don't know..maybe don't watch it. I thought i will stopped it at the first half hour and i didn't. Only the soundtrack was really really bad...the music just doesn't match good..

  1. I thought the movie was very good. I described it to my friends more as a "court room drama" than anything else.

  6. i was really suspisious about this movie and the reason i haven't watched it until now is because i thought it was fake and that some people wanted to earn money from Mark's Z. succes. Eventually though i decided to watch it..

i am going to be honest, i LOVED it, i wanted to hate it but i loved the story, the actors, everything, it was so exiting, they had an idea and that idea affected and is still affecting millions of people around the world, it was breathtaking..

apart from that, i loved Andrew Garfield, he is such a talented actor, the best in this movie, he expressed his emotions so stongly, he was amazing, i am going to see the next Spiderman movie only for him...

it was a great film, i know that it is not 100% real, but it doesn't matter, the amazing part is how someone can have an "one in a generation idea"
