I Am Number Four, Review

John is an exraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed....he is number Four.

REVIEW:
The reason I wanted to see the movie was the story and the cast. The trailer was interesting and it was based on a book so it became a must see for me.

I haven't read the book, or at least not yet (it's somewhere in my laptop), so I can't tell you how close the book and the movie are. What I can tell you is that the movie was really good.

The directing part was amazing. The effects and dialogues were making the movie real and powerful. As for the cast, they all were great. In this movie you didn't need just actors, but people with great imagination so they can actually see the stuff going on and transfer you what they were seeing.

I have to admit that in the beginning I though the characters were pre-teens, but I was glad to find out that they were actually seventeen, maybe eighteen, because none of the actors look like pre-teens. All the characters were great. I don't have someone who I disliked. Also, I liked the fact that the movie is giving you the effect of a sequel, while the authors haven't written a sequel of the book yet.

Bottom on, I loved the movie and I totally recommend it to you. Let me suggest you to see it on the cinema, or if you're not feeling up for it and you want to wait for the DVD release, watching at night is better than watching it at early-afternoon.

  3. IANF is a thoroughly entertaining movie. The special effects are great! I had some issues with the dialogue but that may have been caused by the mutters coming from my negative friend next to me!

The books is VERY different from the book. I read it straight after watching the movie (and reviewed it) and I think I like it more on paper ;) Check it out!

i loved the movie, the actors, the performances, the effects, it was amazing. But at the middle of the movie i found it a little actionless and then it was WOW !

Henri was great too and Sam Goode was so funny!

the last scene after the battle when the school is totally destroyed is so fake XD

  6. I was disappointed. From all the talking up from Yiota I expected something spectacularly epic! Dont get me wrong, it was a good movie, but not amazing. I mean hell the awesome scenes were all in the trailer, the car lift the teleport stab they were in the trailer. It was an ok movie, but not that epic or spectacular. That said, I would so chose telekinesis over teleporting ANYTIME

  7. @Johnny:Well my years of experience in shadow jumping makes me prefer the teleporting, backstabing blondie than the jedi master dude...
