Review :

Covert ops Commander personal log: Just some minutes ago I found my old Tommygun model and I immediatelly remmembered about the good old days that I would shoot some nazis of rooftops while throwing grenades around destroying tanks and cars all over Paris and all those while listening to ACDC music...

Saboteur takes the player back to the second world war in the bright (even in black and white) city of Paris, France. The main hero is an Irish guy who works as a car mechanic and have forgiven the Germans for all they took from him for many years but when they tried to took his car he couldn't forgive them, because what is a man without car in a nazistic France !? So he tried to stand up to them but his pal died, horribly, so he decided to kill the big bad general of the German army, and some thousands of soldiers till he reached him but who counts :D

Gameplay: Almost as good as Assassin's creed in moving around the town. It reminds me a bit of the latest GTA games in the fights, targeting system and driving but the whole environment, missions and voice acting is taking the player so deep in the WW2 era that he/she can't recognise the similarities. I got really obsessed with collecting guns and vehicles, well, because big guns and smooth cars rule ;)

Graphics: Very very good ingame graphics. It can easily compete with the other big graphicsharks out there and the coolest part is that they get better on the cutscenes. That makes it of course a very demanding game by the hardware perspective but even on low settings the graphics are still pretty good. Also very exciting is the greyscale effect that makes everything in the Nazi territories of Paris appear in black and white colors except some details and once the area is liberated the color returns to normal.

Story: The story is not really amazing, it's the classic story of revenge against the guy that tried to take a man's car, and murdered brutally his friend in the process but who cares about him, but the really great part is the voice acting, the really cool non player characters the player meets and the tour around the Paris. I even climbed the tower of Eiffel and starting shooting people with my sniper rifle.
